I am getting a new extended battery in a few days. Would it help my battery life to do a factory reset? Does anyone suggest that? Since it will be a new battey. Just curious.

If you are rooted you can wipe the battery stats. If not, don't worry about it...

Battery calibrator is free on the market, charge your new battery all the way, run the app, do a FULL Discharge without ever plugging the phone in, once it dies, do a FULL charge, then your good to go

Shouldn't the phone re-calibrate itself after a few charge/discharge cycles on a new battery? I did the whole re-calibration thing when I got my extended battery, but... there must be a way for the phone to realize it's got a new battery and then re-tune itself accordingly?
