NFC - no go

My kid has a brand new Incredible 4G & I have a new Droid RAZR Maxx HD. Every time I try and do the NFC send a pic from my phone to the Incredible, it says this phone doesn't accept large transfers. I tried to transfer pictures of all different mp sizes & nothing works.
Does anyone else have the same issue?
Is there a way to fix this?

i NFC'd a few contacts to my kids droid incredible. that worked, but nothing else beams.
