New OTA update Root?

Long time no post, but I'm itching to root my S3 (Verizon). I just installed JZO54K.I535VRBMF1 OTA update, I'm a little tired and getting fed up looking for the right answer. I would really appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction to get started with this whole thing.

One of my main reasons is to get Google Wallet (Darn you Verizon for blocking it), get a little more out of the battery, and customize some of the displays (notification bar, WiFi notices and other things)
