New Google Search bar bug!

Quick question guys,

I'm trying to remove the google search bar on my droid htc eris. i press on on it to try to get it selected so i can move it to trash, but the phone doesnt even recognize it's there, and takes me to a screen to add more widgets to the phone! plz help. thnks

If the search bar moved after putting it on your screen, try to long-press on the spot where you originally added it. Then, to get a working search bar. Download Google Search from the market (blue icon). Long tap on your screen and it will be labelled as Google Search in widgets.
