Hey all....I need a big favor here.

I removed a bunch of stock apps on my Droid Pro using Titanium Backup....it turns out it doesn't actually back up the APK files!

Anyway, the latest OTA update keeps failing to install and I have tried everything...including a factory reset.

Can someone please zip up the /system/app folder and post it or PM it to me?

I plan on reinstalling the apps and hopefully everything will work out nicely after that.

Thanks!

I learned my lesson and just froze all of them using Titanium.

Since you've already factory reset, grab the SBF (I'll see if I can find it) and just flash your phone back to stock. It'll be easier than messing with missing APKs and that business.

I got the SBF and I got RSD lite. Is there a tutorial around somewhere on how to flash it?

Just grab any of the flashing instructions -- the instructions are the same. Just plug the phone in, run RSD Lite, let it find your phone, and flash the SBF file. Takes about 10 minutes.

It seems many people have messed up their phones by trying to restore all the missing apps. As previous poster said, it's much easier to install the SBF. Doing so restores the apps but keeps your settings. You'll have to remove them (or freeze) again after you update.

If you want to start from scratch you will have to wipe the cache and SD card.

Success

Hey thanks for the tips. I just wanted to report back that the SBF flash worked! Also, I don't need to worry about the update because the SBF came with it.

One tip. I had to do activation again after I flashed the SBF.

Thanks!
