Need help with flashing error - multi-interface super-file

Hello everyone,

I've recently (yesterday) updated my phone to OTA 2.1 and used the rsd flashing tool to do it, with no problems.

I then decided I wanted to root it, and went to flash the new sprecovery rom to it. However, to my surprise, the rsd lite wouldn't flash any other roms to the phone anymore!

Whenever I try to do it I get the following error:
ERROR: Flash failure: Phone[0000]: Phone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file. (Error Code: 3b)

very weird.....hmm so what are you on right now? 2.1 or 2.0.1

ok first go back to 2.0.1. from there you can use a number of packages to root.
dm_updater always worked for me

That's what I'm trying to do! But RSD Lite is giving me the error I mentioned and I can't flash any roms!

ok so i dont fully understand the error because i am not acustomed to the new 2.1 sbf. so if you want to stay on 2.1 and flash i would need to read up on some stuff. but what i do know how to do is root from 2.0.1...........sorry.

If it truly doesnt support milestone, then it wouldnt recognize it, all it really does is unpack the sbf and move it to your phone, your bootloader tells it where to put it
