Mic earbuds with controls

I'm looking for something like the iPhone's earbuds with mic and media controls to use with the Droid. I've actually tried those and it does funky things with the Droid.

Is there anything (wired) that does this?

I have some cheapo Sony earbuds with their own volume controls.... They work independently of the Droid audio controls, but they achieve the same purpose.

That's volume controls... not uncommon. I'm looking for something that does play/pause/forward/back/advance/rewind.

Apparently the iPhone's earbuds will let me take and make phone calls too, all without looking at the phone. Droid doesn't.

Because Droid doesnt use some proprietary hardware so you have to use $30 headphones.

I dont see you being able to do this with wired headphones.

I use the iphone headphones and am able to control media and take phone calls. I will give apple credit for these I love them!

How do you do that? I've tried about 7 media players.
