    Whether you are a fan of the Metal Gear Solid game series or not, you will probably appreciate the tongue in cheek humor of the companion app that goes along with the latest Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes game. It's meant to be a "real life" stylized version of the PDA used by Big Boss in the game. It is cheekily named "iDroid." Despite the well-placed humor in the name, it's actually a pretty neat companion app that includes its own stand-alone mini-game. In fact, you don't even need to own the PlayStation or Xbox game in order to use this app (although some parts of it do need the console game).

    It's available for free on the Google Play Store and iTunes. Here's a description taken from the Play Store:
