M settings

Droid turbo on 6.0.1, problem, want loud ringer and not so loud notification. When adjusting loudness level they move in tandem. Want to adjust separately
Any suggestions?

Unfortunatey the GOOG decided that's how it must be. Like you I preferred to have the separate volumes that were available with Lollipop.

Huh...I forgot that was ever an option. To each their own. I like them to be at the same level when my phone isn't on vibrate.

I liked the split controls for a couple of reasons. One being the different "inherent" volumes for whatever tones I plucked off of Zedge could be better balanced..and two I could turn down the "notificiation" volume when my wife decided to send ten paragraphs worth of Txt messages...but keep the ringer volume up and not miss any phone calls.

I also never cared for the graduated ringer volume, Would like to be able to turn that off.
