increasing the cache size for youtube?

Is there any way to increase the cache size for youtube. I don't mind waiting for the cache to fill up to play but its so small that I have to stop and wait 5 or 6 times in order to watch a 4 min video.

Anyone know how to do this?

I TRY to use YouTube when I have a very poor signal but since it doesn't seem to buffer I am not able to use it in those cases.

Anyone know gite to get around this?

Even if I have to download the whole video, then watch it.
Also, is it possible to have a download occur through signal losses- in other words if the signal is lost the download will resume when it returns?
