I want to restore my LG Vortex back to OEM

I have been scouring the net for a solution and cannot find one. I have an LG Vortex that was rooted. I kept get the prompt from VZW to upgrade to 2.3. It would reset my phone and fail the update (I moved bloatware). In my infinite wisdom I did a hard reset of the phone and it still won't let me update to 2.3 and I keep getting the prompt to do so. I just want to set my phone back to the way it was before I rooted it. I have read various flashing tutorials and the like, but nothing seems to work. I am not even sure if the damn phone is rooted anymore. Please help.
