I have a friend who lives a few hours away from me who loves gaming. He and I discovered that you can use Google hangouts or Skype as a headset. I think it works better than a headset because you can aim the camera at the TV. I've heard that if you use bad language on Xbox One you get banned from the online service. That's what Google and skype are for. Video chat opens many windows to do things on there.
