How to change default email app for Google Search?

We use K9-Mail as our email application. Is there anyway to have that be the default email used with Google Search so that when we say email bob" it will use K9-mail to send the email?

Welcome to the forum

I think what you want/need is Google Now. That isn't technically Google Search but it can do what you want. On the Google Search Widget tap the microphone to see if Google Now is active.

Yes - I meant the Google Now application. I have it working so that I can say "Okay Google" or tap the microphone and then tell it to search, text, email, but when I tell it to email it uses Gmail to complete the action and send the email. I do not want to use gmail - I want to use a 3rdf party email application that I installed called K9-Mail. I am looking for a way to configure Google Now to use my email application.

You're off to a good start but I can't off the top of my head tell you how to change that default.
