Or something similiar.I currently use adw launcher EX i want my icons to have words instead of the icons like mail/web/messaging/phone
is there a program or a setting in adw to get this?

Couldn't you create an image with transparent background and the word you want. Then create shortcut on desktop and set that image as the icon

Believe if you have adw you can long press an icon to edit it, and add what ever picture you want. To get the words search google for android word icons.

Had a thought just create one image. Make it transparent. Replace every icon on destop with it. All you will see is the words below icon.
