Help with cyan nightly

What am I doing wrong I've been able to flash just about every rom but cyanmod I download from rom mgr then when I flash it just bootloops on boot up it's a new boot animation so it flashed but then I always have to sbf with linux cd im on froyo 340 now but last night I was on gb 596 ne help please

Did you wipe data? And did you install the correct CWM recovery (2nd init)?

Sounds like you are flashing official build. This only works on froyo kernel, whereas you are on gingerbread. You can use unofficial nightlies with gb kernel.

Official build by CVPCS is for X on .340. Unofficial build, CM7-GB by RevNumbers is built off the .602 or .605 build.

Yes u need the revnumbers version. Literally came from lgb .09 1hr ago. Got it from his donate tool box. Got the gapps too. Works great so far. Really snappy. Did the whole process from my phone.
