Hacked!!!!!!!

I was having a text conversation with my friend. Both of us have Verizon Droids. In the middle of our conversation someone started sending me repeated texts of what he was saying; then started texting their own comments to the both of us.

On my end the "fake messages" were listed as coming from his phone. On his end the "fake messages" were listed as coming from an unlisted number.

Anyone know how this could happen or how to make sure this doesn't happen again?
