Got tired of waiting myself and bought one off eBay for $1.88. Got it in about two minutes and it worked like a charm. Love it so far, as I mainly wanted it for the voicemail feature. If you're tired of waiting, hit up eBay.....

They can be had on eBay, for cheap. That's what I did. Paid $1.88 and had it in about two minutes. Worked great!!

I did too, but it $2 on EBay beats the heck out of being at the mercy of Google.

For anyone who is Military, google has made a special invite page just for military where you can get a Google Voice invite within 1-2 days.

they do require a .mil e-mail to sign up, but for military it's alot easier then waiting, or paying for an invite on ebay.

Not real sure why that is funny. I would pay that for a useful app in the market, and to me, Google Voice is VERY useful. Plus it sure beats paying Verizon for the crappy visual voicemail they have. But I'm not a very patient person either, don't plan on waiting months for Google, plus if and when I do get my invite, I will surely pass that along to someone who needs it on a forum somewhere.
