gmail not syncing with 3.0

So i just noticed this as i haven waiting for an email and when i looked at my gmail app i have to refresh it manually to get it to show new emails. Before i just used to get email notifications when they came to my inbox. Anyone else getting this problem or know a fix?

Had the same problem. Go into your settings, accounts...click on your email address that is to be synced and you might notice that Gmail is not checked. That is how mine was.

yep that was the problem. thanks. amazing how something that frustrating was just a really simple fix.
