Updated to Jelly Bean to make my S3 a global phone, then bought the 100MB data plan for a trip to Asia:
China - Voice works, data works (1x)
Japan - Voice works, data works (3G)
Hong Kong - Voice works, no data
In HK I tried every mode possible and could not get a data connection. So yeah, voice works, but Verizon told me I would have data in HK. Before I complain to Verizon I thought I would check here and see if anyone had the same issue or if my phone may be the culprit. Not sure Verizon could do anything, but a disclaimer that you can't get data in HK would be nice.
