Gingerbread and multimedia station

In previous release when I plugged DROIDX into my multimedia station/dock and stayed on default dock screen with large time display, the backlight stayed on. Now it timesout and screen goes dark. Droid X has become my night stand clock and alarm, so i find this frustrating. Anyone else noticed this and found a fix?

Disregard. I am an idiot. The power cable had just come loose from the dock. Should have checked the obvious first.

I am having the exact same issues and mine is not unplugged.

Any suggestions on what I should do?
