Has anyone else updated the new GDE Home app? Thoughts? Opinions?

Lots of incremental improvements and support for various skins. Haven't had much time to play with it but from what I've seen, it looks good. I've been using Helix for several weeks after several months of GDE. May go back to it and examine the enhancements in more detail.

Have to say though that I've become accustomed to the soft persistent keys available in Helix. Might be hard to give up.

The new GDE update allows you to drag icons to the bottom bar, screen previews by pressing home on the home screen, a lot more transition customizations, and various other things. I'm really enjoying the update.
To get the shortcuts to drag onto the bottom bar you need to use the default GDE theme until theme makers update or create new version 2 themes.

Thanks for the hint and the citation. Running a theme on my version so I wondered about the shortcuts.

Nice..thanks for the heads up..
will look into it. GDE is the most entertaining home app IMO.
