Gallery Broke?

Hey guys I new here so pardon me if this is a dumb question.

When I open the gallery app that came with this phone Droid X, it just closes immediately and will not open. I tried restarting and force closing and restarting and nothing seems to work. When I open the camera however I am able to see the gallery from there...

How can this be fixed?

Man this seems to be a more common problem lately... So far, KNOCK ON WOOD, mine seems to be corrected.... for now... I don't hold much faith that it will stay that way... I may look into a Dx2 if there are less issues with that version...

Yeah, my gallery went haywire a few days after I got my X. Took the pics off and formatted the SD card and so far so good.

I filled mine with hot-glue and pushed it back on. Has been working like a charm for over 3 months now.

Mine too.

It happened to me. I went to the Market at loaded QuickPic. Now it works even better.

Perfect!!

It does not actually fix Gallery, but I like this Quickpic MUCH better!
