If I go to mozilla.com on my droid it says I can download firefox for linux i686. Anyone tried it yet?

It says that because Android is a Linux OS. Mozilla's Web site identifies this and thinks it can run firefox, which is not so. "i686" refers to the hardware platform (x86), the Droid runs ARM. Sorry to burst your bubble...

Yeah, it is not for mobile linux, android. it is for a desktop linux. There will be a mobile version of Firefox, soon though - called FENNEC FOX.
