My wife has an app installed in her Android phone to monitor a specific, external WiFi hotspot. When I recently tried to install the app into my Android phone I found that the company that makes the hotspot is not offering the app any longer. Bearing in mind that it is installed in my wife's phone, would it be possible to extract it from there somehow so that I can install it in my phone?

Please, ignore this. Immediately after posting this I learnt that the Google has apps for download that do exactly what I need.
