DX really annoying issue - please help

So about 4 months ago I got my DROID X in the mail, at first it worked like a charm and still does! However all of a sudden(month ago) the calls I was making or receiving couldn't be heard and the people on the other line couldn't hear me! So I did some troubleshooting to find out if its a hardware or software issue. Thing is when I use speaker phone we can hear each other just fine. Which makes no sense because whether your in speaker or not , you use the same microphone to talk in to.

Also, to add to the list I can't play any music through the speakers(but speaker phone works fine). I receive calls and alarms at a low volume when its actually as high as it can go.

I've tried everything I can think of, battery pull, factory reset, wipe cache/data, updated to gingerbread. Still nothing, so im hoping someone else out there has or has had the same issue and can help me fix it!

it should be under warranty. let VZW troubleshoot and replace it.

SBF back to the "out of box" state and see if you're still having issues; if so, it's the phone, not the rooting that is causing it. If you're still having issues and it's totally stock, it should be safe for you to go to VZW and get it covered.

Im unaware of how to SBF. Could you tell me what version to SBF to and give me a download link with a tutorial please.

It's been doing it for little over 2 months now.

Just gave it all a try and started flashing the SBF and it ended up failing. As soon as home(10 minutes) I will post the error code and exact wording.

What system is your pc? If win 7, you need to run rsd as administrator. Also if it fails, try it on another computer. It will work!
