dropping calls

I have had my droid for a little over a week and I have dropped a call about 10 times already. I have switched over from the iphone in hopes of going to be more reliable network what the crap?!?! What should I do it's killing me. What happens is that I can hear the other line but they can't hear me. the opposite happens sometimes.
