Droid X2 and Droid Incredible Google Talk Gingerbread Issue- Halp!

Since the GB update my gtalk refuses to stay signed in. Will be connected to 3g or wifi- Lock screen and put in pocket- and next time I go to gtalk all contacts are greyed out as if I've signed out (requires a quit/restart to get it to sign in again). I smelled a data timeout so I checked all the usual suspects- have ATK running- but it's set to ignore gtalk, no radio/data mangement going on. Interestingly a friend with an Incredible reports the exact same issue to me. Never experienced anything like it with Froyo. Very frustrating. Any thoughts appreciated!:blink:
