Droid X earpiece volume too high

Just got my new Droid X yesterday and am having a volume problem opposite of most that have posted. The volume at the earpiece is so loud that without the speaker turned on those around me can hear a phone conversation as if the speaker is on. How can I adjust the volume that comes to the earpiece. Thanks.

When you are actually on a call, you can use the volume buttons to adjust in-call volume.

yes what he said. wish my earpiece volume was louder, come to think of it, i think there is a setting somewhere which also controls the earpiece volume. Yeah its in call settings, its at the bottom named voice privacy, that setting might be checked off for you and increasing the volume.
