Droid voice text.... help!

Okay so a lot of you probably know but I've had my phone for about a year and just now am trying to use the voice text option. Can someone tell me how I use this? I can't even find where to enable it on my phone. I've looked everywhere in my phone and googled it and still am not able to find it. I just wanna be able to speak and it be converted to a text messgage. Can anyone help me?

on the keyboard there should be a microphone icon, just hit that and begin talking when prompted to.

The virtual keyboard that is, I don't remember there being a button or not on the physical keyboard

Thanks so much! I never used the onscreen keyboard so I never noticed it there. I will be using it more now though! Lmao I feel so dumb it being right there, but thanks again so much!

no problem.

check the physical keyboard, it might be a function key.
