The @DroidLanding Twitter account just started up what appears to be a new contest. At the same time, the new R2-D2 Droid 2 page went live and includes all kinds of fun facts, tricks, secrets, and info about this mysterious Star Wars related device.

I got as far as it asking for a cipher....you know how many ciphers they have to possibly make out there!? !!!

Combining the call signs may give you the cipher, but the key is out there yet. It may be something the DROID team made up, and doesn't conform to anything known.

BTW...What is everyone using as the combined call symbols?

I've been looking along the lines of Red 11 (Combined Red 6 and Red 5). Or Red Eleven.

That is what I have been doing as well... The problem is we do not know what form of cipher...

According to Wookieepedia, Red 11 was Lt. Wenton Chan. Perhaps this is what needs decrypted.

using the alphabet if you shift the letters to the left 11 spaces you get this if you try to decode Lt. Wenton Chan this is what you get
