Droid 2 insurance

I have insurance for my Droid 2. Recently, it has been getting very hot when just running one app (so hot it is uncomfortable to hold) and is becoming very slow at times. It also randomly freezes or shuts off. Will this get me a replacement? Also, assuming it is enough for a replacement, what will they give me? Do they have Droid 2's leftover that they'd give me even though they don't make them anymore? Thanks.

How long have you had the phone? Is there any visible physical damage?

I've had it just over a year, but I bought the extended warranty insurance plan that I pay monthly for. There's no visible physical damage to the phone, other than light scratches on the back.

You will probably receive a D2G as a replacement, but I've heard of someone receiving a D3.
