Data drops.

Ive read about others having trouble with signal. I dont seem to be having signal issues but my data just randomly drops. Im in a primarily 3G area. My data just goes away similar to the data issues on the first gingerbread roms on my D1. But airplane mode doesnt bring it back the only way i can seem to get it back is to place a call or switch to wifi and back. Btw im running stock rooted. Anyone else having this issue or should i be looking to replace this phone phone for a new one?

Another enjoyable feature of ICS/4G is that toggling into airplane mode (to motivate your phone to get ANY data back) often requires a reboot to get out of it, burning up another precious percentage of already scarce battery.
