It may not sound like big news, another device gains Cyanogenmod support, but trust me this is big! Cyanogen has officially stated that they would not support devices with Exynos chips. The reason being is that Samsung does not do their due diligence to provide developer with the source code necessary to make a truly stable build. This means that while CM devs could easily port their rom to a device with an Exynos processor it would be very difficult to get everything working properly.

One developer "tdcfpp" has decided to go ahead and give the CM port a go on the Galaxy S6. So far the Rom boots up on the device. This is still in the very early stages of development, but at least we are getting somewhere. There is no way to know how long this will actually take to get a fully functional rom on the phone, but it is promising to see that developers have not given up. Head to the link below for more info.
