Its finally here! Cyanogen Mod 11 becomes official for the Galaxy Note 3 on several carriers. Sprint and T-mobile consumer models are now officially supported by Cyanogen Mod. The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 still has a locked bootloader so it won't be able to run CM11 however if you have the developer edition of the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 you will be delighted to know that @Hashcode has been working on CM11 for your device! I am kicking my own rear end for not dropping the extra few dollars for the dev edition. That is not to say that the consumer version of the VZW Note 3 will never have an unlocked bootloader. Adam Outler and team are still working hard on that, however it may yet be a while.

Cyanogen Mod 11 is a very attractive rom to run on your Note 3 since it is Kit Kat and we may not see an official Kit Kat build for the Note 3 from Samsung in the US for a bit. The only thing that could keep some of you away from CM11 is the fact that you will loose all touchwiz extras including all of the stylus incorporation. To install this Rom your phone will need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery like clockworkmod or TWRP. Along with CM11 you will need to be sure to flash the Kit Kat Gapps. If you forget you won't have the PlayStore and won't be able to load any google apps. These builds are nightly and stable builds are more than likely still a ways off, however Cyanogen nightly builds are normally stable enough to use as a daily driver. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tushar.cmspen Gives you sPen function on an AOSP device. (Unsure of CM11 compatibility).

I don't know of an alternative to AirCommand but having the above apps does the job for the apps.

HAHAHAHHAHAHA I think my phone knew I was reading this post and thinking about toying around with CM11 because for the first time since I got it on launch day, I had to do a battery pull. SystemUI crashed and the phone was unresponsive.
