One of my favorite customizations is the boot animation. The boot animation has to be the first thing that i changed about my first legit Android device, the Droid X. I can remember swapping the Droid Eye for a Call Of Duty boot animation. We run into videos on youtube all the time that we wish we could immortalize in some way. XDA member "deathviper" has come up with an easy way to turn any video into a bootanimation. You will need a few different files such as "despotovski01's boot animation creator, an image resizer, and a video pad editor. The method is pretty straight forward.
