I am running the cm6 stable release and am having an issue changing wallpapers. whenever I try to change them, it sets it to the standard green grass wallpaper until reboot. once I reboot the wallpaper change will take effect. is there a way to fix this so I dont have to reboot when i want to change wallpapers?

If you go into settings and then ADW settings, scroll down and press restart ADW. That way you don't have to reboot. But for some reason it doesn't change the background of the lockscreen or the media dock background.

Having this issue too. Only problem i've encountered thusfar with CM6. Restarting ADW fixes the wallpaper but lockscreen stays the same until phone is rebooted. Otherwise, this ROM is great!

I also saw this problem with launcher pro. I believe it is a memory issue.

Few things i have done:
Set VM heap size in CM to 32m
Set CM to keep home app in memory
Changed my kernel to P3 LV 800mhz(not sure if this matter but since this i havnt had any issues)

Well I'll be damned.:icon_eek:
That actually did fix it.
The kernel doesn't matter though, I'm running chevy's 1250ulv.
Thank you.
