Chainfire Releases SuperSU v2.61 BETA For Rooting 6.0.x

A few months after Chainfire said that he would be taking a step back from supersu development his work on the app has seemingly not missed a beat. The last few updates install SuperSU without modifying the system since boot.img is being modified anyhow. The latest update to v2.61 will work with Nexus devices on 6.0.1 and CM13. It may also work on some Samsung devices with 5.1+.

Chainfire mentions that this has had some issues with devices like the LG G3 and some Samsung 5.1 devices. He goes on to say that you should not be using this unless you are tech savy enough to fix your device if this messes it up. Keep in mind this is still BETA. I tried using it with 6.0.1 and I get a boot loop.
