Cats terrified of cucumbers... whodathunkit?

I don't get what's so funny about it. You sneak up behind them while they're distracted and eating something, and place something there to startle them that they likely have never seen before. They're gonna freak.

Oh, that's right....but that still doesn't explain the hairball I just coughed up.......but I digress.
What were we talking about again? Oh yeah, cats on the internet, whodathunk it'd be a multi million dollar a year enterprise? Now, if only I could get mine to fetch me a cold beer outta the fridge like my brothers Blue Heeler used to do.

I would not try to startle or frighten my cat Brandy. It comes down to me treating her the way I would like to be treated. Since I don't enjoy being startled or frightened, I'd never spring those on her.
