I used to be able to "send email as" using Gmail on the Droid2 (not global or R2D2). I am using the native app that came with the phone.
Ever since I un-rooted my phone, there is no option to "send email as" another email address. There is no down arrow on the left to let me pick the other email account.
I've checked on my computer and the other email account seems to be working when I ask Gmail to check the account.
I am running the Verizon 2.3 update on the Droid 2.
