Calendar sync problem

When I sycn my Outlook to gmail calendar everything goes fine. Tehn when i sync my Incredible to gmail some of the events switch from monthly to daily events. I tried going in to the event and resetting the date but i cannot select to change the date on any synced events. Is there a way ot fix the event reoccurance chaning to daily when i sync and is there a way to change the date of an event from my phone other than creating a new event
