Anyone ever use Block Chalk?

For the moment, it's web based on Android phones (use your DROID browser), though an app in the Market Place looks imminent (there's also an announcement on their site verifying this).

Anyway here's an official blurb ...

BlockChalk is the voice of your neighborhood. Use your mobile phone to leave messages on your block, your street, at the coffee shop, or anywhere you happen to be. Respond privately or publicly to messages from people in your neighborhood.

Seems like an interesting way to share information with others about a particular location.
