So....Seeing as all of your installed Apps are backed up to Google servers magically....and pulled back down when/if you get a new phone...what exactly happens to all of your SMS/MMS messages? Do they get backed up to Google as well?

If so.......does this mean that I can more than likely access my SMS messages as an HTML document somewhere on Google's site? (this would be amazingly badass)... :icon_eek:

No... there is an app for backing up SMS messages and the like. As far as I know only the apps are preserved and only those you purchased.

Someone else can chime in if I am wrong.

Only if you're using the GV assigned number to send/receive them I believe.

As I said earlier... there are several apps in the App Market that do this. Just search for SMS Backup
