Phone would not turn on this morning, first time. Battery pull solved that but got me thinking.

Is there anyway to backup without rooting?

I'm not worried about user data that is already on the SD or elsewhere, but the configuration, screen, links customizations, etc. Analogous to a Windows user profile.

Even backup pro can't backup everything without being rooted. Having proper backups in one the prime reasons to root your phone.
