Audio problems using mirror mode

I purchased the microHDMI cable from monoprice. Connected up to my Sony Bravia. Video is fine but no audio. Tried everything I could think of. If I unplug the cable from the tv but not from the phone, the both audio and video comed over the phone. Anyone have a solution?

I purchased a cable from them as well and it's also not working properly. My guess is try a cable from Verizon because I've heard monoprice is hit or miss on quality.

If you return it try Amazon. I got my HDMI cable there for like $3 total (including shipping). Works great!

I've got the same problem. I RMA'd the first cable and got a replacement but the problem persists. The one I got was the 3' with ferrite core.

mine is a monoprice cable as well, no issues here at all.
