anyone know how to sync facebook contacts yet?

i have downloaded the facebook app but just cant find the option?

I can't get it to work. The icon to sync it is there, but when i click it, nothing happens. It refuses to add facebook for some reason

Looks like we'll have to use some other app. I only had used the facebook sync for pictures, so I'm using SyncMyPix for now.

I can upload pictures, but having same issue on synching contacts. Hopefully this can be fixed with an OTA update.

I love mine lol except I'm coming from a lg dare so I'm just happy to finally have a smartphone. But I wasn't sure if I had to use an app or not but looks like I do for right now atleast

You can also import FB contact info via Yahoo Mail contact importer then upload that .csv to Gmail in the meantime, if I remember correctly.

syncmypix does only that, syncs the pics to current google contacts. There is no native way to sync your actual facebook friends to the phone unless you use another app like friendcaster but you can't sort out "only friends with phone numbers" which is annoying.

Thanks for this info. I hadn't heard about this update yet. Contapps actually has the social apps fully integrated and the app also includes other social apps like Foursquare, LinkedIn, etc. The layout is easy to use and the settings are many. Check it out if you haven't. If you like the app as much as I do, you may not use any other.
