anyone ever work with dxtop pro?

I got my droid2 global today and it downloaded my previous home launcher dxtop pro. For some reason I can't set it as my default browser and I can't hide alps that are bloatware. So any ideas or alps that can at least allow you to hide unused apps? Thanks.
