Active X controls in Browser?

Was trying to log into remote website and my browser indicated that Active X controls needed to be installed or enabled. Can anyone point some light on this issue?

Make sure in the browser settings, that plug-ins are enabled....maybe that might be why??

Never seen that on mine...

Hmmm, those settings are enabled. Plugins and Javascript both are set to go.

Sayes it needs the Remote Desktop Connection Manager Control. Looks like a Microsoft issue maybe. Would the Android people know anything about this?

I don't think you can load ActiveX controls into any browser that's not running on a Windows OS. They were sort of Microsoft's attempt at matching applets in Java, while still being proprietary.

And only in Internet Explorer. Firefox at least requires plug-ins to make it run.
