Quick question about kernels

Been using cm7 stable for a day. Liking it so far. Battery life is pretty decent, but not an improvement from stock. I've read that installing incredikernel adds to battery life. Any opinions on this??? And what's a good way to use set CPU.? Running Droid Inc!!!

If you flash that kernel, know that it can be overclocked natively in the ROM, no need for SetCPU. It likewise has scaling governors built in for battery life.
