z4 Root Question

I rooted my D2G with it now my friend is interested in doing it for his Droid 1.

Does z4 root work on the both phone or is there a different file for it?

Z4root wont work on the most recent update for the droid one. Unless something changed that I wasn't aware of. You could always try I guess.

Search for a thread by motocache1. Root regardless of OS. This will work on D1. Pretty simple too if you can follow directions
