Ok so I have the android market. 3.1.5 I think and some apps give me this massage like google books the default youtube lane splitter and Qik video and many more. So the problem is that I downloaded the apk of some of the said above and they work fine. I know my phone came with the default youtube app so why is happening

Are you guys using official Market apps, not leaks? If so, go to settings/apps/manage apps/all tab/market/force stop/clear data then try using the market again. Might have to sign in again.

Could've been the latest market update that messed it up.

I believe this happens if you have changed your resolution.
I fixed it permanently by uninstalling my Market updates, then renaming the Market Updater.apk. Even when I am able to install apps, I absolutely hate the new Market. The tiled layout is repulsive and the three column layout doesn't even let you see the full titles of the apps.
